We are pleased to announce that Worcestershire County Cricket Club have awarded their captain and England batsman Vikram Solanki a benefit in 2007.
"No-one at the Club deserves a Benefit Year more than Vikram. He is Worcestershire through and through; he is proving to be a very good Captain and is enjoying a terrific season. The Board were delighted to confirm this decision following requests from several members to award him a benefit year." (Worcestershire chief executive, Mark Newton)
Vikram, who has played 51 one-day Internationals for England, made his one day debut for the county in 1993 and his first class debut in 1995.
We cordially invite you to navigate the website for further information on planned events for the year and join us in celebrating Vikram's Benefit Year in style. Your support to make this a truly memorable Year is welcome.

Birmingham Children's Hospital has been adopted by Vikram Solanki to be the beneficiary of a proportion of the charitable income raised through his Benefit Year.
